  • Overview

    Under the direct supervision of the Lead Van Driver, the Van Driver is responsible for the  transportation of clinetes as scheduled and/or providing delviery service to Jefferson Center facilities adhearing to a scheduke, cleaning and coordination of cclint rides, supervision of staff and ensuring timely delivery of mail, interoffice mail as well as tacking all recorders pertaining to all agency vehicles.


    • Provide transportation for consumers as necessary
    • Assist with delivery of inter-office mail as necessary
    • Report routine or scheduled maintenance
    • Report non-routine maintenance
    • Report repairs
    • Report Safety Issues (tires, seat belts, etc.)
    • Report maintain mileage logs
    • Report monitor van check-out and usage
    • Provide suggestions, solutions and/or corrective measures to ensure efficiency, cost effectiveness, with internal and external customer service goals in mind
    • Attention to customer service orientation for the department


    Other Duties:

    • Attend mandatory in-services, compliance with individualized training plan if required
    • Participate in supervision by coming prepared with an agenda
    • Appropriate professional standards and provides appropriate follow-up for consumers
    • Exhibit enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation in the work environment
    • Maintain effective interpersonal relations with consumers, peers, subordinates, upper management, visitors and the general public
    • Effectively respond to client/consumer needs and problems, initiate and maintain positive interactions, timely response to phone calls, pages, email and other requests
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Proof of valid Colorado driver’s license
    • Proof of Motor Vehicle Report in good standing
    • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
    • Must be 25 years old or older
    • Strong organization, prioritization and communication skills
