Family Health Therapist will provide family, group and individual therapy to at-risk children ages 8-22 with mental health issues. Utilization of an episode of care model is essential.

Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field plus two or more years related experience and/or training. Licensure required. CAC II or III preferred. Experience in working with children and youth with mental health issues and their families. Skills in family therapy interventions, crisis interventions, culturally competent interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and other applicable treatment modalities. Must have an understanding of the effects of trauma on the individuals who access services at the Center. Expertise in child development, attachment issues, trauma treatment, abuse/neglect, foster and adoptive issues within families. Knowledge of stages of change, motivational interviewing, culturally appropriate episode of care. Bilingual preferred. Computer expertise desired.
