Work under the supervision of the team leader for Residential Services, and the Director of Access and Emergency. Work actively with other members of the clinical staff including the nurse prescriber at the facility.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights (3-13 hours shifts).
Follow all Jefferson Center protocols and procedures pertaining to the mental health needs of consumers, eighteen years of age and older
Facilitate the group therapy model
Comply with all clinical documentation standards of the mental health center
Interact within the community at the facility
Assess risk factors pertaining to suicide and dangerous behavior
Help in maintaining the physical appearance of the facility
Participate in supervision activities
Help consumers with ADL skills
Bachelor's degree required in counseling, psychology, social work, or criminal justice with one year experience in the mental health field, working with adults, 18 yrs and over
Prefer crisis intervention skills and background, knowledge of the brief therapy or solution focused approaches
